On this tour, the climbs to the heights of the Odenwald are rewarded with wonderful views of the Neckar valley and the Odenwald. A particular highlight is the White Stone, which can be reached from the Zollstock via natural paths.
With wonderful views of the Neckar valley and the Odenwald, this tour rewards you for the climbs to the Odenwald heights. From the Feuersteinskopf forest parking lot, the trail first leads downhill to Schönau with a wonderful view and then uphill via Lochmühle to Münchel and on to Sitzbuche. Passing the outskirts of Heidelberg-Ziegelhausen, you reach the Köpfel leisure center. Now it’s uphill to the Zollstock and from here on to the Weißer Stein on natural paths – the great view from the tower rewards you for the steep climb just before. The return route follows well-maintained paths via the Lange Kirschbaum, Geigersheide, Holzapfelbaum, Prinzensitz and Linde to the Feuersteinskopf.
