Would you like to get to know the landscape of the Vorderer Odenwald in all its facets? Then this tour is just right for you. It begins with gigantic views as far as the Palatinate Forest and Black Forest after just a few meters. Via Oberflockenbach, you enter the Haundeltal valley – one of the most beautiful and unspoilt valleys in the Odenwald. Wünschmichelbach, Gängelbachtal and Erlenbachtal are the next stops and the route continues to the Weinheim forest swimming pool. A steep climb takes you up to the Wachenberg – a short detour to the Wachenburg is well worthwhile here. The route then leads downhill into the Birkenau valley and up to the last mountain of the tour, the Hirschkopf. The route then rolls downhill into the center of Weinheim, where numerous restaurants invite you to stop for a bite to eat. Strengthened, the route climbs briefly one last time back to the starting point.
