An easy but beautiful route, which conveniently starts right at the tourist office in Lindenfels. Interested bikers can obtain further information here. On the route itself, you can stop for refreshments in Schlierbach and recharge your batteries for the final steep climb back to Lindenfels.
Switch off from everyday life and enjoy the varied natural landscape around the small castle town of Lindenfels away from busy roads – that’s the motto of the signposted mountain bike circuit. The starting point of the approx. 15-kilometre tour is at the Löwenbrunnen opposite the spa and tourism office, where interested visitors can obtain further information about the tourist attractions of the climatic health resort. From there, the route leads past the Bürgerturm tower a little way through the town and below the Knabenberg down to the Dornhöhe and the outskirts of Krumbach. From there, it is not far to the neighboring Fürth line (F 1). However, the route continues via Kapp and Faustenbach through the Eulsbach district. The ascent towards Seidenbuch follows, where you soon cross the Nibelungensteig. If you want to go even higher, you can also enter the Heppenheim circuit (HP1) via the Krehberg. Otherwise, the route now descends again to the Schlierbach district. Here you can stop for refreshments and recharge your batteries for the final steep climb back to Lindenfels. Passing the Pfalzgrafenstein natural monument, you return through the town below the castle to the starting point at the former market square. The impressive landscape of the Granitodenwald forest and the magnificent views of this region are sure to make every biker’s heart beat faster.
