The beautiful Erftal valley provides the backdrop for the Ha1 route, which offers something for all mountain bikers. From easy single trails to drops, jumps, steep ramps and small stone fields for advanced riders, the circuit offers entertainment for everyone.
Starting on Hardheim’s Schloßplatz square, you start in historic surroundings with ample parking facilities. From here, the route climbs gently out of Hardheim into the surrounding fields. Ideal for warming up. The trail fun begins at the Wolfsgrubenhütte with the Wolfstrail. This is divided into 3 parts, each of which increases in difficulty. After the Wolf Trail, the route continues uphill on paved forest paths past the Hubertushütte. The Margarethen Trail is then entered in two parts. The first part is relatively easy and flowing, while part 2 is technically demanding, steep and crisp. Just a few meters further on is the start of the connecting path to the country road to Miltenberg. This follows an old return route and offers more downhill fun in beautiful surroundings without any major difficulties. At the end, you come to a large lay-by on the L521, the country road between Hardheim and Miltenberg. Here you have to cross the road, about 50 m away you go back down to Erfa via a parking lot. There you meet up with the Mühlenradweg, which takes you back to Hardheim in a relaxed and scenic manner.
