From the starting point, the route first takes you through the historic old town of Neckargemünd and over the Friedensbrücke bridge to Kleingemünd. After a steep climb, you continue along the slope towards Heidelberg-Ziegelhausen – with wonderful views of the Neckar valley. The route climbs steeply to the Köpfel leisure center. At the Sengesselloch, a long and steep climb up to the Weißer Stein awaits, where you can stop for refreshments. A narrow path leads to Zollstock, from here the route continues in a relaxed manner to Heiligenberg. A former hiking trail leads down to Heidelberg’s Old Town, which boasts both cultural and gastronomic highlights. The tour then leads steeply up the road and then into the Rohrbach forest.
