Fürth F2

Welcome to the family-friendly “blue” beginners’ mountain bike trail Fürth F2. F2 is the ideal route for mountain bike beginners, for families or the scenic “after-work route” for a relaxed end to the day for mountain bikers. The route runs mainly on paved country lanes and asphalt paths in the fields. Challenging sections were deliberately avoided when choosing the route. Magnificent views around Fürth and across the entire Weschnitz valley to the castles in Weinheim, Starkenburg Castle in Heppenheim and Lindenfels Castle. As well as a route in the sun and without forest are characteristic features of F2. The ride begins with an easy roll-in, mostly on asphalt, from Fürth via Fahrenbach to Lörzenbach. From Lörzenbach, the route then climbs gently on dirt tracks until the descent to Erlenbach, interrupted only by a short “stitch” where the bike can be pushed if necessary. From Erlenbach, the route runs via Eulsbach and Ellenbach to Krumbach and from there back downhill to the starting point on the Fürth market square.
